Newburyport Farmers’ Market
If you’ve never stopped by the market, do so before it officially closes for the season on Nov. 21.
With fresh fruits and veggies, cheeses, warm baked goods and a selection of artisanal crafts, it’s a great stop to get a taste of the locally grown goodies and pick up something for someone special on your holiday list.

Mill 77’s Holiday Vintage Marketplace
Head into a winter wonderland for Mill 77’s sixth annual event. A great stop to get your holiday shopping started early, the marketplace features local vendors and scrumptious snacks and drinks as you make your way around the store. You’ll undoubtedly leave with unique gifts and festive decor.

Autumn Adventure Walk
Learn about how plants and animals prepare for winter during this guided walk through the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary. Let the natural beauty of the area wash over you as you explore the area and delve into the history of the flora and fauna. The trails are suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

SeaFestival of Trees
If your favorite part of the holiday season is decorating a Christmas tree, then this is the event for you. The 9th annual festival of trees boasts some of the area’s most uniquely decorated (fake) pines. Stroll through the venue and be mesmerized by the twinkling lights, sparkling tinsel and array of ornaments. There’s even ice skating and, if you’re lucky, you might just catch Santa.
You can even enter a raffle to take home your favorite tree!

Holiday Craft Fair
Attendees will sure to find a little of everything here, making it a great stop for holiday shopping, or to simply pick up something for yourself. Vendors range from those boasting Christmas and Yule decorations to jewelry, locally made food items and more.
