Kevin K. Lanphear, D.O.

Dr. Kevin Lanphear grew up in Cranston, Rhode Island and then attended Nasson College in Springvale, Maine before medical school at Kirskville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Post-graduate residency training was done at the Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego, California as well as the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Florida. As a naval flight surgeon he was stationed at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida with deployments to Rota, Spain and Sigonella, Italy. Upon getting married, he and his wife decided to return to his New England roots and moved to Newburyport to join the practice with Dr. Andy Longley and Dr. Larry Kimball in 1986.

Dr. Lanphear is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He is a member American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, Massachusetts Medical Society, and the Massachusetts Osteopathic Society. He is the President of the Whittier Independent Practitioner Association and the Lower Merrimack Valley Physicians Hospital Organization, as well as Chairman of the Board of Wellport. Dr. Lanphear is also a member of the Board of Managers on the Beth Israel Deaconess Physician Organization. Special interests include acute child and adult care as well as osteopathic manipulation and Health Information Technology. He is married with two children and pets, and enjoys outdoor activities and especially time with family.

 

Sandra L. Macaulay, F.N.P.

Sandy Macaulay, FNP grew up in Amesbury, MA. She graduated Amesbury High School, went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Fitchburg State College and a Masters of Science in nursing at the University of New Hampshire.

Sandy is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Sandy joined Newburyport Family Practice in the fall of 2006. Her special interests include women's health, diabetes, as well as pediatric and adult medicine. Sandy lives in southern New Hampshire with her daughter and enjoys hiking, running, and gardening in her free time.

 

Renae M. Freid, D.O.

Dr. Renae Freid was born in Kansas, and has lived in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida and Maine, but she considers New England her home. She graduated from high school in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. She attended college at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine and graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She attended residency at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas.

Dr. Freid is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She joined Newburyport Family Practice in the spring of 2003. Special interests are adolescent and women's health, and osteopathic manipulation. She currently resides in West Newbury and enjoys spending time outdoors, in Maine with friends and family.

 

Carole J. Moore, PA-C

Carole grew up in Salem, MA. She attended Bishop Fenwick High School, and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University. Carole graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Northeastern University, and has been a Physician Assistant for over 25 years. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. Carole is also a Registered Nurse. Her special interests are Geriatrics, Women's Health, and Family Care.

Carole lives in Topsfield with her husband, and enjoys gardening and traveling. She has one daughter who is married.
